Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to love your GearMate purchase. This policy explains how returns and refunds work and what to do if something arrives damaged or incorrect.

Return window

Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery (unless otherwise required by the Consumer Protection Act).

Eligibility

  • Items must be unused (where applicable), in original condition, and include all parts/accessories.
  • Where packaging is included, please return the product with the packaging (reasonable handling accepted).

Incorrect / damaged items

  • If you received the wrong item or your order arrived damaged, please email us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Include your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging.

How to request a return

Email info@gearmate.co.za with:

  • Your order number
  • Your full name
  • The item you want to return
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (if damaged/incorrect)

Refunds

  • Once the returned item is received and inspected, we’ll confirm approval.
  • Refunds are processed back to the original payment method where possible.
  • Refund processing typically takes 3–7 business days after approval (bank times may vary).

Shipping costs

  • If the return is due to an error on our side (incorrect/damaged item), we will arrange return shipping.
  • For other return reasons, return shipping may be for the customer’s account.
